Cracking Claws on the Coast

If you’re feeling crabby you’ve come to the right place! It is stone crab season and there is nothing better than an ocean breeze, cracked claws and yummy mustard sauce. The stone crab is a Florida native, residing in the deep blue sea, right here off the coast. Our friends from down under are completely sustainable and totally delicious; these particular crustaceans only need one claw to survive. This allows us enthusiasts to pluck the other pincher from each crab between the months of October and May. The size of these delectable claws range from medium to colossal, and we'll let you guess as to which size is our favorite!

There are tons of raw bars all across the Florida Keys that serve this amazing dish, including our very own here at the Postcard Inn. Make sure to keep an eye out for our seasonal specials, so that you too can indulge in this fantastic treat. We will have you eating like a local in no time!
