Tag 'Em Capt. Greg Pope

Born & raised in Miami, Florida, Capt. Greg Pope remembers spending long weekends and each summer fishing in the Florida Keys with his Dad. He began fishing when he was just five years old and started fishing professionally at the age of 18.

Capt. Greg worked on local charterboats as a mate and captain, until 1998 when he decided to go into business for himself. At that time, he bought the charterboat "Tag 'Em." and has been a part of the Holiday Isle Charterboat docks ever since. Capt. Greg has fished up and down the east coast from Cape Cod to Cuba and has had some great fishing experiences.

One of Capt Greg's most memorable moments happened this past spring when his anglers were reeling in a 125 lb blue marlin which was attacked by a 319 lb mako shark. The crew threw a bait to the shark and the Mako was landed 15 minutes later. The giant fish is now resting comfortably on Capt. Greg's living room wall and the memory is never far away. The Tag 'Em is available for private or split charters and may be booked for Full Day, 1/2 Day and 3/4 Day fishing trips. They are also available for evening tarpon trips.
