He began his professional fishing career at the young age of 17 working on a commercial salmon troller in Coosbay, Oregon. At the end of the salmon season, he signed up with his uncle to fish for Marlin all around the globe on Don Tyson's boat, the "Tyson's Pride." After a year of chasing the "big ones," he moved to Islamorada, the sportfishing capital of the world. He mated on some of the best Charter Boats in the business for over 18 years before deciding to own and operate his own boat, a classic 1961 — 31' Bertram. The Royal Blue is a fishing machine — incredibly seaworthy with twin turbo diesels, a large cockpit and all new tackle, perfect for Islamorada live bait fishing.

The Royal Blue team have no preferences and will fish for everything including snapper, grouper, permit, shark, sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, amberjack, swordfish, tuna and of course marlin. With experience and enthusiasm, Capt Chris and crew will give all anglers a fishing trip to remember. The Royal Blue is available for full, 3/4, 1/2 day and evening trips.
