Red Fish 44' Henriques Capt. Merv Finch

Captain Merv Finch loves to fish! For more than 25 years, he spent all of his free time fishing. He has fished up and down the coast of the United States from the Canyons off Rhode Island to the Oil Rigs off the Coast of Louisiana.

His dream for 25 years was to take people fishing on his very own charterboat. He realized that dream in 1993 when he bought his first charterboat, a 44' Henriques which he chartered part-time in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina.

He retired the following year to pursue his dream on a full time basis. In 1997, the captain brought his boat from North Carolina to the Florida Keys and fished the waters off Islamorada during the winter months. With the nice weather and great year-round fishing, it didn't take him long to decide to move here permanently and fish the Florida Keys full-time.

Capt. Merv's favorite fishing is dolphin fishing, but he'll take people out for whatever's biting. The Redfish is available for full, 1/2 and 3/4 day charters. They will also put a split charter together upon request.
