Capt.
Joe Petrucco’s love for fishing began at the
early age of 2 when he caught his first fish in the creek
behind his house. He taught himself to fly fish at age 6 and by age 14
he was an expert angler. Before the age of 21, he was guiding anglers
to limits of Walleye on the Detroit River. In order help finance his
fishing business, he began working at the Ford Motor Company and fished
on his days off. After 10 years of fishing part-time and working full-time,
he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time charter boat captain.
He moved to the Florida Keys and has enjoyed great success with Killer
Instinct Charters.
Capt. Joe and the Killer Instinct have the unique ability
to fish both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. He is well-known
for his ability to bring in great catches of dolphin, wahoo, tuna, grouper
and permit. He has also had great success catching marlin and sharks.
In
other words, whatever his anglers want, Capt. Joe can do
