With "Flatitude" Captain Jeff VanDerAue

After getting his license 15 years ago, Capt Jeff VanDerAue has fished both offshore and backcountry. He loves both types of fishing, but for the past 6 years has been concentrating his efforts in the Florida Bay, catching redfish, tarpon, snook and the elusive bonefish.

Capt Jeff has been fishing all his life and learned his backcountry skills from the Florida Keys natives, known as "Conchs." He enjoys fishing the "Flats" and the "Everglades" and recalls the time when he caught 5 out of 7 tarpon. His preference is sight fishing on spin or fly, but he'll take you out fishing for whatever's biting including Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout, and Bonefish. The "Flatitude" is available for full day, 1/2 day and evening tarpon trips.
