Capt. Easy - Owner/Capt. Bruce Anderson

Capt. Bruce Anderson has been fishing since he was 6 years old on Long Island New York. He remembers catching an 80 lb yellowfin tuna when he was just 10. Bruce has been working on boats almost his whole life. He worked as a mate on party-boats and charterboats at Captree State Park on Long Island, until he learned about the wonderful fishing here in the Keys.

After obtaining his Captain's License in 1993, Bruce decided to see for himself just what the Florida Keys had to offer. He spent the winter of 1993 mating on a party boat in Key Largo and moved here permanently in 1994. Afer two years on the party boat, Bruce came to Holiday Isle and worked as both a mate and part-time captain on the Capt. Easy. In 2002, he took the opportunity to buy the Captain Easy and go into business for himself.

From Long Island to the Bahamas, to the Florida Keys, Bruce has done it all. He has many tales of his experiences on the water, but his favorite is the time his anglers caught a 500 lb Blue Marlin, 15 lb Slammer Dolphin and Wahoo while on their way home from the Bahamas.

Bruce loves to fish, especially sailfishing and night tarpon fishing, but he'll take you out fishing for whatever is biting. The Capt. Easy is available for 1/2, 3/4, full day, and night-time fishing trips.
